Mr. Yaffa joined the firm Grossman Roth, based in Boca Raton, Miami and Fort Lauderdale, in 1990 as a law clerk during his last year of law school. Now a partner, Andy is an aggressive and committed attorney who concentrates his efforts in personal injury, wrongful death and medical malpractice litigation. He is considered one of Florida’s most accomplished attorneys and has been intimately involved in some of South Florida’s most recognizable cases. Mr. Yaffa is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell and has been elected by his peers into ABOTA (American Board of Trial Advocates). He has also been recognized as one of Florida’s top attorneys by the Florida Trend for the last several years and was recently named in the book, The Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Yaffa’s success as a trial attorney began early in his career as he gained hard-edged courtroom experience arguing motions and winning cases before some of Florida’s legendary judges. Since joining the firm, he has played an active role in obtaining multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts in complex litigation. Mr. Yaffa concentrates his practice all the areas of catastrophic personal injury, products liability and medical malpractice. He was awarded a certificate of appreciation from the Association of Trial Lawyers of America for outstanding services to individuals and families who sought compensation under the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund. Trial Lawyers Care was the largest pro bono legal services program in history, providing free representation to more than 1,700 victim families. Additionally, Mr. Yaffa regularly shares his experience and knowledge lecturing to those in the health care industry, including doctors, nurses and interns on the anatomy and physiology of malpractice lawsuits.
