Abigail Wettstein is an associate trial lawyer at Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen, where she focuses on complex civil litigation, combining a passion for its strategic and analytical challenges with a dedication to helping those who have been harmed. Abigail’s practice includes personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, and other complex civil matters. She approaches every case with rigorous preparation, strong courtroom advocacy, and a client-focused commitment to securing justice for those she represents.
Abigail earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where she excelled in oral advocacy and was inducted into the Order of Barristers. During law school, she was recognized as the top performer in the University of Miami’s Litigation Skills program and excelled in the international moot court program. She earned an individual oral advocacy award and helped her team place Best Team in the Americas and fifth overall in the International Criminal Court Moot. She also contributed to her team’s recognition as Best Newcomer in the International Chamber of Commerce Mediation competition.
Abigail gained hands-on experience through the University of Miami’s International Human Rights Clinic, where she conducted extensive legal research and advocated before the United Nations Human Rights Committee in Geneva, as well as through clerking in both private commercial and municipal legal settings.
