GRYC Welcomes Three New Hires
Abigail Wettstein has joined as an Associate Trial Lawyer, Dr. Maria A. Suarez as a Medical Investigator, and Aroldo Zuriarrain as a Legal Investigator.
Abigail’s practice includes personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, and other complex civil matters. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where she excelled in oral advocacy and was inducted into the Order of Barristers. Abigail gained hands-on experience through the University of Miami’s International Human Rights Clinic, as well as through clerking in both private and municipal legal settings.
Maria is a nationally recognized nursing leader and ANCC-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner specializing in pulmonary and critical care medicine. As a medical investigator, Maria applies her extensive clinical, executive, and academic expertise to the evaluation of complex medical negligence cases. She earned her A.S.N. from Miami-Dade Community College, graduated summa cum laude with a B.S.N. from Florida International University, completed an M.S.N. in the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner track at Barry University, and received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Nova Southeastern University.
Aroldo brings extensive investigative and emergency response expertise honed over a decade of working in death and accident investigations and frontline medical response. Before joining the firm, Aroldo served as a Medicolegal Death Investigator with the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner’s Office. He currently serves as a firefighter with the City of Marathon Fire Department handling fire, medical, and rescue calls. Aroldo holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida International University.
