Elio Oliva brings a wealth of investigative expertise to Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen, honed over three decades in law enforcement. Before joining our team, Elio retired from the Miami Beach Police Department, where he served in multiple pivotal roles, including Uniform Patrol, Special Investigations, Narcotics, Human Trafficking, and as a Training Officer. His extensive experience includes conducting investigations at the local, state, and federal levels, often working undercover.

One of Elio’s most notable achievements was as a Deputized Task Force Agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). In this capacity, he was instrumental in seizing over $30 million in cash and assets from a drug cartel, a feat that earned him the prestigious U.S. Attorney’s Office Investigator of the Year Award.

Elio’s law enforcement career began at the Hialeah Police Department, where he worked in the Uniform Patrol division and the Detective Bureau. His dedication and skill were recognized multiple times, as he was awarded the Officer of the Year Award twice, along with the Combat Cross Award, Distinguished Officer Award, and Officer of the Quarter.
