$1M Not Enough for Misdiagnosis of Breast Cancer, Third DCA Rules

Attempt to limit damages for shortened life expectancy ‘bizarre’

Economic damages for a woman whose breast cancer was misdiagnosed should be based on her full life expectancy, not on when the disease would kill her, the Third District Court of Appeal decided Wednesday, April 10, 2013.
