After sleuthing around South Florida for nearly a year, Major League Baseball officials hope they can soon start punishing some of the game’s biggest stars for allegedly using banned drugs supplied by a Miami- area clinic.
For Major League Baseball to have a solid chance of imposing drug-use punishment on players, Bosch’s “credibility is going to be everything,” said Andrew B. Yaffa, who has handled steroid-related cases as a partner at the South Florida-based law firm of Grossman Roth.
