Several Fresno California media outlets have highlighted one of Andrew Yaffa’s latest cases, surrounding horses at Black Fence Farms. Thirteen of the horses have died after consuming Western Blend horse feed. The horse owners, represented by Andrew Yaffa, allege the food they bought from Western Milling Western Blend Horse Feed contains an antibiotic called monensin that is toxic to horses. “These incidents are the result of gross neglect and a complete failure to follow simple protocol and procedures at the location where the feed is manufactured,” said Andrew B. Yaffa of Grossman Roth, P.A. “We again have an entire stable of horses that have been dealt a death sentence because of tainted feed. This is more common than anyone recognizes and is almost an epidemic. This is yet another preventable tragedy that has repeated itself.”
