Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen today announced that name partner Andrew B. Yaffa has been inducted to the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL), a group of elite trial lawyers that extends fellowship to attorneys by invitation only. Currently, only 500 active trial lawyers in the U.S. hold this distinction.
The Academy represents both sides of the Bar: prosecutors and defense lawyers in criminal cases, and plaintiffs’ and defense counsel in civil litigation (including business and personal injury cases). Though the majority of the fellows come from the U.S., the Academy includes lawyers from more than 30 countries. Each member is carefully vetted through an arduous acceptance process.
This recognition by the IATL marks Yaffa’s second major legal distinction in recent months. In July, he was named to Florida Trend’s Legal Elite list, which is comprised of peer nominations for attorneys based on their reputations and professional excellence.
Recognized for his leadership, Yaffa is an aggressive and committed attorney who concentrates his efforts in personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, and medical malpractice litigation. His passion for his clients extends far beyond the realm of the cases he tries—he takes each case personally and ensures that his clients are provided for in every way possible.
