GRYC Donates $25,000 to Baptist Health’s Miami Cancer Institute

Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen, trial lawyers devoted to achieving justice for people and businesses damaged by others’ negligence or misconduct, today announced a $25,000 donation to Baptist Health’s Miami Cancer Institute, a new facility dedicated to helping those with all types of cancer, located at the healthcare system’s main campus South Florida.

Slated for completion by the end of this year, Miami Cancer Institute at Baptist Health South Florida will house all cancer services under one roof. The facility will offer 305,000 square-feet of clinical services and cutting-edge technology and treatments. The $430 million facilitiy will also be the first in South Florida (and one of the few in the nation) to offer proton therapy.

Within the center, a 140,000-square-foot research facility will provide access to clinical trials and will offer diagnosis, treatment, research trials, and follow-up care, all at one state-of-the-art location. The Institute is a milestone for Miami and marks the beginning of a long-term plan of Miami becoming an international center for world-class cancer care.

Serving South Florida for over 26 years in more ways than one, Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen is deeply committed to the local community, and this donation is just one of many the firm has planned for the rest of the year and beyond.
