Stuart Z. Grossman of Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen, award-winning trial attorneys devoted to helping individuals and businesses damaged by others’ negligence or misconduct, was recently awarded the Florida Justice Association (FJA)’s Al J. Cone Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Lifetime Achievement Award commemorates Al J. Cone, the first president and founder of the Florida Justice PAC, who exemplified the following: a career of leadership, example setting, devotion, and courage.
Award recipients are among those who have followed Al in his footsteps. The award recognizes individuals who have embodied exceptional legal achievement throughout their career and have shown dedication and service to their profession.
Grossman is recognized as one of America’s pre-eminent trial lawyers concentrating in medical malpractice, products liability, police misconduct, aviation, personal injury litigation, and wrongful death.
His success stems from decades of playing a vital role in high-profile cases, such as the FIU bridge collapse; two major diving cases including one against the Ritz Carlton, which resulted in multi-million-dollar settlements; a $37 million verdict against FPL; and many other favorable verdicts and settlements.
The FJA is dedicated to strengthening and upholding Florida’s civil justice system and protecting the rights of Florida’s citizens and consumers. Grossman was given recognition for his award on Thursday, Sept. 26, at the 2019 Florida Justice Association Founders Awards Luncheon in Orlando.
Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen has served the Florida community for nearly 30 years and is focused on personal injury, medical malpractice, and complex litigation cases for individuals, small businesses, and large corporations.
