Stuart Z. Grossman of Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen, award-winning trial attorneys devoted to helping individuals and businesses damaged by others’ negligence or misconduct, was recently listed as one of the Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers of 2019.
The Lawdragon 500 is one of the most elite distinctions in the law profession, covering the best of the best in all practice areas nationwide.
In an effort to recognize only the most distinguished practicing attorneys, Lawdragon selected the 500 honorees through submissions, journalistic research, and editorial vetting from a board of their peers.
The list includes many leading attorneys of the plaintiff bar while reflecting the emergence of pharmaceutical and other class actions, sex abuse, and civil rights claims.
Mr. Grossman has previously been acknowledged by Lawdragon as one of America’s 500 leading attorneys in multiple fields. He is one of America’s pre-eminent trial lawyers concentrating in medical malpractice, products liability, police misconduct, aviation, personal injury litigation, and wrongful death.
His success stems from decades of playing a vital role in high-profile cases, such as the Florida International University bridge collapse; two major diving cases including one against the Ritz Carlton, which resulted in multi-million-dollar settlements; a $37 million verdict against FPL; and many other favorable verdicts and settlements.
Outside of the courtroom, Mr. Grossman is passionate about community efforts and was the former chair of the Miami-Dade County Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
He also founded Margaux’s Miracle Foundation, named in honor of his daughter, who died of a rare childhood cancer. The foundation funds, among other things, a research fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen has served the Florida community for 30 years and is focused on personal injury, medical malpractice, and complex litigation cases for individuals, small businesses, and large corporations. For more information on Lawdragon 500, click here.
