Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen Welcomes Our Newest Team Member, Attorney Ryan Yaffa

Ryan YaffaOur legal team at Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen is pleased to announce that our firm’s newest addition is none other than Attorney Ryan Yaffa! His father, Attorney Andrew Yaffa, is a partner at our firm who has spearheaded groundbreaking personal injury litigation throughout the state of Florida his entire career. We are honored to have a family legacy here at our Miami-based firm.

The Yaffa Family Legacy: Fighting for Justice with Exemplary Legal Skill

Throughout his time at Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen, Andrew has proven to be an invaluable asset to our team. He has represented a boy who was born without limbs due to his mother’s toxic exposure to pesticides while working in tomato fields and has also fought for the family of a late deputy killed while serving a warrant on a registered sex offender. These are just a few of the landmark cases Andrew has won for his clients throughout his career, and he continues in his efforts to represent individuals whose voices would otherwise go unheard. In addition to these catastrophic types of cases, , he is currently working on helping a number of patients injured by stem cell therapy. Andrew’s work has not gone unnoticed by his son.

“For as long as I can remember, my father would come home and speak of the firm’s cases,” Ryan explained. “I heard the tragic stories of his clients on a daily basis and watched him, along with the rest of the team, pour his heart and soul into helping those who have been wronged.”

Therefore, inspired by his father’s work, Ryan earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law after graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University College of Business. He recently passed the bar, which was postponed multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and was sworn in by Honorable Judge Michael A. Hanzman of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida.

As the youngest attorney at the firm, Ryan commented on how great of a privilege it is to be able to start his career at a firm where he can “develop, learn, and gain insight from the best of the best who have changed the landscape of the practice and created everlasting legacies.”

“Each member of the firm brings so much to the table... I consider all these individuals to be my mentors,” Ryan said. “Most incoming attorneys are lucky to have one; I guess I have ten. I appreciate just how fortunate I am.”

In addition, Ryan’s genuine passion for injury law sets him apart from the crowd and provides him with a solid foundation on which to build an impressive career. He is fully committed to helping clients pursue justice after suffering serious injuries caused by negligent hands. “Last but certainly not least, working at GRYC affords me the chance to practice with Andrew Yaffa — my father, hero, role model, and best friend,” Ryan said in a statement. “Following in his footsteps and carrying on a legacy means more to me than I could ever put into words. Not only do I have that opportunity, but I also get to chase my dream at a tremendous firm while making the world a better place.”
