Best Lawyers® Magazine Features Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen Attorneys in 2021 Edition

As a successful injury firm often at the forefront of trailblazing litigation, Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen has been featured in the 2021 edition of Best Lawyers® magazine following our selection to U.S. News — Best Lawyers® 2021“Best Law Firms.”

Since 1988, our attorneys have worked hard at representing and advocating justice for South Florida clients. Among our most notable work is our fight against hazardous working conditions. Serving as advocates for some of society’s most vulnerable victims, GRYC most notable advocated for a child born without limbs due to his mother’s exposure to toxic pesticides while working in a tomato field. Through this case, our firm raised awareness of the horrors of Florida’s tomato fields and was able to recover compensatory damages for the mother and her child, inspiring author Barry Estabrook’s acclaimed book, Tomatoland: How Modern Industrial Agriculture Destroyed Our Most Alluring Fruit.

We also fight to bring negligent parties to justice for causing devastating bridge collapses, such as the 2018 pedestrian bridge collapse that killed six innocent residents, rendered one permanently disabled, and injured many more. In addition, Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen is spearheading stem cell therapy malpractice litigation, as we are passionate about fighting against those who continually prey on consumers. Unfortunately, many patients are suddenly rendered blind or suffer brain damage during stem cell procedures they were told carried no such risks. For instance, one of our clients seeking treatment for macular degeneration, to slow the progression of her blindness, received stem cell therapy which led to the client suffering retinal detachment.

“The right eye, I see nothing,” our client told ABC Action News. “They said the worse that can happen is there is no effect.”

Our work illustrates our commitment to helping South Florida residents who are often ignored. In the courtroom, we fight for parents whose children suffered severe birth injuries due to malpractice and represent clients in cases concerning premises liability, aviation accidents, workplace accidents, and myriad other practice areas.

After hours, we are proud philanthropists: During the COVID-19 (or coronavirus) mandated lockdown, we contributed $25,000 to Feeding South Florida, a food bank serving Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.

At Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen, our legal professionals are proud to uplift South Florida communities. To find out how we can help you, contact us online or call (866) 629-1061. We invite you to read our feature in Best Lawyers® magazine here.
