In order to qualify for “Best Law Firms” consideration, a law firm must have at least one attorney on staff who has been listed in that year’s edition of The Best Lawyers in America© by Best Lawyers. Further, they must have been a listed lawyer for a practice area also considered by “Best Law Firms.” The annual guide has its own rigorous selection process, leaving room for only a slim margin of attorneys.
Qualifying for “Best Law Firms” consideration is difficult enough—passing final selection even more so. If a firm meets the above criteria, Best Lawyers will then contact the firm’s professional references and clients. The final selection is based on client testimonials, peer feedback, and notable accomplishments.
