We are very excited to announce that Attorney Stuart Z. Grossman, partner at and co-founder of Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen, has been inducted into the 2020 Hall of Fame by his alma mater, Coral Gables Senior High School. He had the great honor of revisiting the Gables High auditorium for the induction ceremony, which was postponed a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Attorney Grossman is now revered as one of the nation’s preeminent plaintiff’s lawyers. His profound work in personal injury and wrongful death law—which ranges from products liability to aviation accidents, and everything in between—has affected positive change not just in his clients’ lives, but in the community as a whole.
Some of Attorney Grossman’s awards and accolades include being named “Florida Trial Lawyer of the Year” by the American Board of Trial Advocates, as well as the recipient of the Crystal Eagle Award by the Florida Justice Association. He has also been listed in Super Lawyers® and The Best Lawyers in America© by Best Lawyers®. While recognition from professional legal organizations is a great privilege, being recognized by his own alma mater is a whole different story.
Induction into the Coral Gables Senior High Hall of Fame has marked an important milestone in Attorney Grossman’s career, because his passion for justice, for doing the right thing, was born right there in the halls of Gables High.
“I learned justice then; I learned how to be fair; I learned from my classmates how to always give your best in every endeavor,” Attorney Grossman said at the Coral Gables Hall of Fame ceremony. “And I'm thankful for that.”
After graduating from high school, Attorney Grossman attended the University of Miami. There, he earned both his bachelor’s and law degrees. He was recently elected to the Order of Iron Arrow, the university’s highest honorary society, for his groundbreaking legal advocacy.
