As Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen continues to seek justice for those affected by stem cell clinics, GRYC partner Andy Yaffa has been featured in numerous interviews regarding his work with stem cell cases.
In one of his most publicized cases, Andy took is seeking justice for Doris Tyler, a retired elementary school music teacher who originally suffered from macular degeneration. Mrs. Tyler was put on to the idea of stem cell therapy to cure her macular degeneration after reading The Stem Cell Revolution, which suggested that her disease could be cured with stem cell therapy.
Excited about the opportunity to cure it, Tyler received stem cell therapy in both eyes. One month and $8,900 later, she couldn’t see anything in her left eye. A month after that, she lost vision in her right eye, too. Tyler is now taking legal action against the clinics and the doctors who treated her.
